The real beginning of my Jewish education was in 1978. I took my first watercolor course in 1997. I’ve continued my art and Judaic learning in many forums. Lately, I’ve found my passion in melding the two in creating Ketubot (marriage contracts). I have been blessed to be mentored by the luminescent Risa Aqua and a marvelous Israeli watercolorist, Yoram Gal.
I prefer to draw my subjects first, and then lay the color. I think that my accountant’s eye for detail both serves my work and provides the greatest challenge for me to let go, and allow the flow.
My work as a life coach revolves around my passion for strengthening families. The rest of my life revolves around my own family and friends.
For me, love is what lies above and below the surface of life.
“On the surface of a painting is where one has to place what lies below the surface of life.” Alvaro Cardona-Hine
